If you happen to take a trip on the autostrada del sole, exit at Falerna (from north to south) or at Lamezia terme (from south to north) take the s.s.18, in the marina of Gizzeria, where the purplish iodine vapors of the sea Tyrrhenian Sea merge with the green of the pines and citrus groves, in this oasis of peace, between the scents of orange blossoms and the blue of the pristine coast stands the HOTEL "PALMED" (built in the 60s), with the name of hotel "fresh fish", has represented over time a true institutional and reference point for Calabrian maritime tourism; so much so that the activity is cataloged and mentioned in the most important national and international tourist guides. Favorite destination of famous personalities of culture and entertainment (to name a few: D: Modugno. F. De Gregori), for decades it has given hospitality to professional businessmen and diversified social classes who above all require quality and comfort. 

Staying with us, you can also enjoy appetizing seafood specialties prepared with the experience of the renowned "Fresh Fish" restaurant. The management provides a shuttle service to/from the Lamezia Terme Centrale railway station and to/from the Lamezia Terme International Airport.

Rooms

The hotel has 21 rooms (33 beds in total) made with the highest levels of hospitality and with various comforts: minibar, satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning, breakfast in the room, safe. The rooms are of different types: single, double, triple and double communicating (see photo below). There are also several reading rooms located on the different floors of the hotel and a veranda where you can enjoy a beautiful panorama with the Tyrrhenian Sea of ​​the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia in the background.

Autostrada del sole: exit at Falerna for those coming from the north, with a detour to the left onto the SS. 18 Lower Tyrrhenian Sea; and exit of Lamezia Terme, for those coming from the south, with a deviation to the right on the SS. 18, lower Tyrrhenian Sea. Trenitalia: Lamezia Terme Centrale railway station 4 km. Airport: Lamezia Terme 6 km.

The Torre dei Cavalieri farmhouse is located in a panoramic position about 1.5 km from the sea and from the beaches where kite surfing is practiced. Surrounded by greenery, it features comfortable apartments, a restaurant and an outdoor relaxation area. The farmhouse is made up of elegant double rooms located in the villa and five external bungalows.

The company

The company was founded in 1992 by the will of Luigi Trapuzzano, son of the owner of the estate located in Santa Caterina, in a hilly area 2 km from the sea and 18 km from Monte Mancuso (1350 m). The family-run company boasts within the numerous rooms that house an infinite series of period testimonies. There are various objects that prove the antiquity of the manor that houses the farm: paintings, statues, ancient tools for the home, for working the fields and objects of any kind, make the accommodation unique in its kind, a sort of museum. We therefore offer a holiday in an ancient fifteenth-century manor house surrounded by lush gardens overlooking a very large stretch of the Tyrrhenian coast.

The nature

The Agritourism Center is located in a dominant, panoramic and quiet area. Green oasis among olive trees, orange trees, poplars, eucalyptus and secular pines where it is possible to take beautiful walks. Furthermore, the observation of animals, crops (olive trees, vegetables, citrus fruits), farms (horses, Tibetan goats, poultry), products (extra virgin olive oil) become moments of relaxation. The greenery of nature is the frame of rare scenic beauty both for the Tower of the Knights of Malta (year 1050) and for the ancient manor house (year 1400).

Hospitality and Services

The company's services and common areas are: parking, telephone, TV room, barbecue, wood-burning oven. The company offers various types of accommodation: rooms with bathrooms (single, double rooms, with bed linen and towels), apartments (independent apartments for 4/5 people with living room, kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, external veranda), family villas (built in tuff positioned in the shade of the mulberry trees with external veranda) or suites (splendid apartments furnished with antique furniture). Pets allowed by previous agreement with the management of the Agritourism Centre.

Parco degli Ulivi

The Agriturismo "Parco degli Ulivi" was born from the will and stubbornness of the Calabria brothers who, after having treasured a decennial experience in the agricultural sector, decided to spread this knowledge. As evidence of this experience, the high quality extra-virgin olive oil produced in the company owned, Olearia Calabria. The Calabria brothers therefore intuit that this desire can only be satisfied by creating a tourist reception structure that surrounds itself with a rural world and its prerogatives that still wants to live, despite the fact that the world is now characterized by unbridled globalization. Therefore, the passion of a lifetime, that is the agricultural world and small farmers, the world of those products made following the old traditions to bring all those who will be guests of the Agriturismo "Parco degli Ulivi" closer.

The company

The "Parco degli Ulivi" farmhouse is located in the beautiful green hills of the province of Catanzaro, in Gizzeria, near the lake "La Vota", a protected environmental reserve. From an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level, you can enjoy the panorama that the splendid view of the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia Lamezia offers. The structure, recently restored, harmonizes with the beauty of the surrounding nature, thus preserving the landscape around the company. Surrounded by olive groves, it is in open countryside and is ideal for a peaceful and tranquil stay. Near the company there are two large woods that are completely accessible. Walks in these woods offer the pleasant sensation of a trip to the mountains, but it is enough to look south-west to see the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia with the Aeolian Islands completing an incomparable landscape.

Hospitality in the manor house

Inside the manor house there are welcoming rooms renovated according to the traditional principles of the past. They consist of 2 studio apartments which house double bedrooms and a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. All rooms are equipped with TV, air conditioning and internal toilets.

The hospitality in the apartments

The two apartments are made up as follows: an apartment with 4 beds divided into a double room and a twin room; an apartment with 5 beds divided into a double room, a twin room and a single room. Inside, in addition to the traditional furnishings, there are TV, air conditioning, washing machine while the kitchen is complete with fridge, hob and oven.
